Ineligible Jurisdictions
Ineligible Jurisdictions
Pyrus's products and services are available only where Pyrus is authorized to offer them. This page lists the jurisdictions we currently support and explains who is ineligible. "Pyrus" (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") means Pyrus Financial Inc., a Delaware corporation, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates, including Pyrus Credit LLC, a Delaware limited liability company and licensed lender (NMLS ID 2712962), which originates and services loans.
Where we are available
Consumer loans (individuals). Loans to individuals are available only to U.S. residents and are currently offered in 27 U.S. jurisdictions: AK, AR, AZ, CO, DC, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, KY, MA, ME, MN, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, OK, OR, PA, SC, UT, WI, WV, and WY. We are working to expand availability over time.
Commercial loans (businesses). Loans to businesses are available more broadly, currently in 46 U.S. jurisdictions (the 50 states and the District of Columbia), other than the jurisdictions noted below. We may also support certain business borrowers in additional international jurisdictions; please contact support@pyrusfinancial.com to ask whether your country is supported.
For commercial loans, we do not currently lend in California (a California Financing Law license application is pending), Nevada, North Dakota, or South Dakota. In Vermont, commercial loans are available only for amounts of $1 million or more. Mississippi is available subject to a confirmatory step.
Minimums, rate limits, and other product parameters
Loans are subject to minimum and maximum loan amounts, interest-rate limits, and other product parameters (including rate guardrails and operative limitations) that vary by jurisdiction and by whether the loan is a consumer or commercial loan. These parameters, and the list of supported jurisdictions, are subject to change from time to time as our authorizations and product offerings evolve. Eligibility is determined by your state of residence (or, for a business, its principal place of business) at the time of your application, and certain terms, rates, and fees may differ depending on where you are located, as reflected in your Loan Agreement and its state-specific disclosures.
Licensing and how we operate
Pyrus offers each of its loans in compliance with applicable law, under the licenses or exemptions available to it in the relevant jurisdiction, and within the rate limits, loan-size minimums and maximums, and other parameters permitted there. We have chosen not to operate in certain states at this time, including where applicable consumer rate caps or other limitations are too low for us to offer our product, and those determinations may change from time to time. At the federal level, our consumer lending is conducted in accordance with applicable law, including the Truth in Lending Act (Regulation Z), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Regulation B), the Military Lending Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, applicable Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations and federal debt-collection requirements, and applicable anti-money-laundering and sanctions laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, and the requirements administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
Who is ineligible
If your jurisdiction is not listed above for the relevant product, that product is not currently available to you, and your jurisdiction is an "Ineligible Jurisdiction" for that product. If you do not see your jurisdiction supported, you may email support@pyrusfinancial.com to ask about availability.
Sanctioned persons and jurisdictions
Regardless of location, the Services are not available to any person who is the target of economic or trade sanctions administered by OFAC or other applicable authorities, including any person on the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (SDN) List, or who is located in, ordinarily resident in, or organized under the laws of a country or region that is the target of comprehensive U.S. sanctions.
Access controls; other restrictions
We may implement controls to detect and restrict access to the Services from an Ineligible Jurisdiction, and we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to restrict or decline access to any or all of the Services in any jurisdiction, whether due to applicable law or for any other reason. We may update this page at any time.
